Valentine's Day Updates

Valentine's Day is always a fun excuse for doing something special, even if you aren’t actually all that crazy about societally-enforced romanticism (or the oddball capitalism that springs forth from manufactured events like this, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Secretary's Day, etc).

My great friend Liz Langley found a wonderful way to celebrate Valentine’s Day by accomplishing one of her long-time goals, getting a story published in Details Magazine ... for which we are very proud of her. She also (kindly) let me guest-host her blog with my picks for some off-beat romantic films movie lovers might enjoy for a quiet night at home.

Heather and I also have special plans for the day (well, specifically the evening), as we will be at Phillips Comedy Night in downtown Victoria where I'll be doing another short standup set (along with various other performers). If you’re in the area, it’s a very inexpensive evening out and sure to be fun (particularly since alcoholic beverages will be available).
