Canada’s election made The Daily Show !!
Not only that, but someone on that staff actually knows what they are talking about! Canada is left of the Democrats, and Harper (the least lefty of all the party leaders) would be equivalent in US political terms to Gay Nader Democrats for Peace!
Oh yeah, I also heard there was some debate going on tonight. Couldn’t really hear it over the hockey game, sorry. :D

You know, that big landmass to the north of the US that most Americans know almost nothing about? :)
Turns out it’s a very diverse and interesting (and beautiful) place with history, culture, multiple political parties, a budget surplus (most of the time), eco-friendliness, world respect and a vision for the future.
We find that very attractive. We hope you will too.
