Apparently there was a big quake west of Vancouver Island this morning. This
Yahoo! article mentioned it and apparently CNN had coverage on it this morning. The article says it was too far out at sea for us to feel anything. No one here felt a thing. I didn't even know about it until a friend of mine asked if I was ok. So yeah...we're ok.
Of course, that said, we ARE in the Ring of Fire and quakes happen here all the time; most are minor and don't register high on the Richter scale...we neither feel them or know about them. We've al been told that the BIG ONE will hit someday, but hopefully not for a long, long time.
