Victoria doesn't make the news all that often -- well of course we have our own little scandals, the occasional crime and crisis -- but Victoria fails to make the national scene all that often, which is of course a good thing. This biggest running story of late has been our seven-week library strike, which just ended. Hopefully they'll excuse the inevitable late fees. :)

You know, that big landmass to the north of the US that most Americans know almost nothing about? :)
Turns out it’s a very diverse and interesting (and beautiful) place with history, culture, multiple political parties, a budget surplus (most of the time), eco-friendliness, world respect and a vision for the future.
We find that very attractive. We hope you will too.
