N.R-T.U. #3

I have got to stop booking these all-day drives!!

What? We've made it across the country? We're on the west coast? Only three short drives left to go?

WOOT!

Okay, now that I've had a good night's sleep, I've put the photo gallery for Ft. Collins back up. It's right here.

We're staying in the historic Multnomah Hotel (now an Embassy Suites), an incredibly fancy building with a nice combination of old architecture and (mostly) new amenities. Breakfast was magnificent, and I'm sitting by the fire typing this in the cavernous and huge main lobby (sadly, internet access in the rooms costs extra). Check out the link for the Multnomah, the pictures therein (postcards from the 19teen and 19twenties) are awesome and the lobby and fine rooms continue to look pretty much as they do there. Nice.

Now we're off to explore downtown Portland. More later.

PS. A shout-out to everyone who's been keeping track of us, it makes us feel loved! More yet to come -- we may have hit the coast, but we've still got a ways to go and more to show. Stay tuned!
