Because it was a long drive from Jackson to Boise, we didn't get there till evening, and consequently didn't take a lot of photos (sorry). We would, however, be remiss if we didn't mention our surprise and both the size and beauty of Boise. The rest of Idaho had not led us to believe that a full-scale metropolis would be greeting us upon our arrival, but there it was -- as hip and interesting as any downtown we've been in on this trip.
We did take a few nice photos along the way and in town, so here they are.
The next day, we got up and left town (sorry, we have a schedule to stick to). In hindsight, I should have booked a day less in Jackson and a day more in Boise. Oh well.
On to Oregon! The west coast awaits!

Turns out it’s a very diverse and interesting (and beautiful) place with history, culture, multiple political parties, a budget surplus (most of the time), eco-friendliness, world respect and a vision for the future.
We find that very attractive. We hope you will too.
